The last segment of my around the world birthday trip was the flight from New York JFK to Frankfurt in Singapore Airlines Suite Class. This was also the flight I was most excited about as it wasn’t easy to get the award ticket. I was waitlisted until 2 weeks before departure when the award space finally opened up.

Here are some of my impressions including the ground experience in the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at JFK Airport. I have to say that this was a very interesting ground experience as the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at JFK really offers a great ambience to spend the time waiting for your flight.

Among other things it is the bar, the pool table and the hairdresser that definitely make this lounge special.
